Executive Assistant/HR Generalist

The Executive Assistant / HR Generalist supports the Executive Director and coordinates the HR Function. The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance to the Executive Director to allow them to focus their highest contribution to developing vision, strategy and staff development. The HR Generalist assists the accounting department as outlined in the primary responsibilities.

Grants Manager - Alcohol Justice


Are you passionate about promoting evidence-based public health policies and making a difference in communities? Do you have experience managing grants and organizing campaigns? If so, we have an urgent opportunity for you to join Alcohol Justice, the industry watchdog, as a Grants Manager.


Alcohol Justice is a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to prevent the proliferation of misuse of alcohol and other related drugs and reduces the harms associated with populations targeted by the alcohol industry through evidence-informed advocacy and community organizing.


Overview:

  • Assist the Executive Director in preparing the development budget
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop grant proposals and reports
  • Manage grants and ensure compliance with funding requirements via the creation of annual grant calendar/schedule and goals
  • Write and submit grant reports to funders in coordination with the management team
  • Monitor grant budgets and track expenses by overseeing the grant tracking processes and liaison with accounting department
  • Make presentations as needed
  • Prepare monthly and as needed grant reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of development experience, or five years of development experience, preferably non-profit grant writing experience
  • Experience in grant management or a related role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with CRM Databases
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to adapt/learn new technology
